One of the things I really wanted to do with my blog is to post more about what I am reading. I guess it would come as no surprise to you to know that I love talking about books.
My goal for 2020 is 45 books.
Here are some books I have read since New Years:
Highlights from my list include Jan Eliasberg’s debut novel, Hannah’s War, which was fantastic! This fictional account of a real Jewish woman who helped build the a-bomb right after WWII was a page turner. As a bonus, Jan Eliasberg will be here for an author luncheon on March 27th. I can’t wait to ask her all the questions and meet her.
Megan Collin’s newest book Behind the Red Door (coming out August 4, 2020) was addictive! Megan is one of my favorite suspense writers after I read her debut last year, The Winter Sister. I am excited to tell you that Behind the Red Door is even better! I was up into the wee hours of the night reading this. I was able to get an event with Megan for her tour of this book. I can’t wait to share this with all of you.
Rune Reading Your Life is a book that came into my life at exactly the right time. Delanea’s book has totally transformed how I see the Runes and how I interpret them. Delaena did a Rune Making event here a few weeks ago and she will be doing a Rune Reading Party on March 27th in the evening. Her book comes out on April 21st and we will be hosting her again on April 24th to celebrate the release.
Books I am currently reading:
Ink in the Blood is one of the Not So YA Book Club’s March picks. I am enjoying it so far. DJ Palmer is coming for an author luncheon in May. The New Husband is really addictive and darkly creepy. I am loving it so far. I heard about Psychic Witch on a Podcast and I liked what the author had to say. I have been reading this book for over a month. It is not the sort of thing that can just be read straight through, so it will probably be on my “currently reading” list for a while.
There are so many books I want to read this year, my TBR keeps growing. So many books, so little time…
